The Problem With Reducing Consciousness

I think panpsychism earns its keep with by explaining the physical world in terms of consciousness. If it can also explain biological consciousness in terms of particle consciousness, either wholly or partially, that's a bonus. But even if you say particles just have basic combinatorial capacities, still reducing explaining the physical to underlying facts about consciousness is better than dualism. And I explore the possibilities of a sort of hybrid approach,. but generally speaking, I would be more on the non reductionist side.
