With Catherine there are certain things that you sort of don't she didn't think to even question until sort of that one piece of information sort of poked a hole in everything else and then we sort of follow that trail down and see what Ruth is actually hiding. Yes she didn't have any reason to believe that the things her mother was saying weren't true. I wanted it to be the scariest kind of threat because he came wrapped in like a very ordinary package even though sympathetic lookingYou know attractive package he seemed very tender and kind and he didn't present as who he truly was. That's more terrifying than when you see you know somebody looking violent and angry. It's creepy.
