The problem is that you can do a lot of math within these specialized accelerators, but you get bottleneck sending data back and forth the memory. And so this is where things like kernel fusion come in. This is this idea of saying, let's avoid going to memory. And let's do that by building a new numerical algorithm that actually keeps things in the accelerator instead of having to write it all the way out to memory.
