Is There Any Am Model for Success and Happiness?

We are not independent, nor should we like strive to be. As far as i'm concerned, there's no am. There's nothing to be gained from independence. It's such a narrow am model for what it means to be happy. I don't know people who succeed at the american dream and feel incredibly lonely because they haven't reached their full potential.
