The Importance of Objects in Sentences

The most common mistake students make is there's no object with the verb raised and it doesn't work. Students use rise like they would use raise, so for example they might say the government rose prices or the department rose sales - that isn't right. Rise does not need an object to work, in fact we don't have an object with rise at all. The verbs are very common when it comes to the working world, so it's very important that you get them right.
