I'm actually writing a second book with with o'rilley. It's called reproducible bioanphomatics with python. And its it takes the same problem solving approach to a website called rosalind dot info. i feel like each chapter is short enough that you could go over it in a class or it could be the basis for a take home assignment. Thatthere, there's a lot of people interested in getting into bynprom tics and there's so many different ways to do it.
