The Integrator - A Simple Model of a Redout Pump

Lukanov's integrator uses a system of adjustable rubber tubes and small floating outlets that help keep the actual redout tubes from emptying past a certain point. To set up a model properly small glass tubes had to be inserted between each of the vertical redout tubes. These came with different levels of hydraul resistance that had to be mashed up carefully with the mathematical model. The final bit of fun are the so called prismatic inserts, which make it harder for water to flow.
