Ecoget: A New Adventure in Aviation

Dale Vince wants to make the world's first electric airline that is powered entirely by renewable energy. His fleet will comprise conventional aircraft retrofitted with hydrogen electric power trains. Once converted they'll operate with a 100% reduction in CO2 emissions. This across the UK he says will commence early next year starting with Edinburgh to Southampton and expanding to mainland Europe shortly after. He reckons that even when it does fly its hydrogen electric planes will be able to price match existing airlines on airfares.
