I have worked very hard over the last 20 years to try to root out recency bias and my expectations. So fewer bad things surprise me than used to, is how i would put it. They're not going to revolutionize the world to morrow, but i think that will happen within our lifetimes in a significant way. A thoronous, i just wasn't paying that much attention to. I've become successively less sceptical about longevity research,. But i think it's a long, slow haul and a tough slog.
