What Is Happening in the Ocean?
This relationship between the ice shell, the core and the ocean can all be effected by how salty the water is. So we know that ashell geometry is odd. It's not uniform around the moon. There are differences between the equator and the poles, and also between the north and south poles. You want to use that geometry to understand what's happening in the ocean and the core,. basically ocean circulation and heat transport.
