When Rebecca first started working with sloths 14 years ago nobody knew what a sloth was. We're just not used to that level of slowness in person, she says. And I think what it is because they don't just move infrequently, they move slowly and every single part of their body moves slowly. It's almost like somebody's put them in slow motion. That's what Rebecca set out to discover when she ventured into the jungle to study sloths.
