Which of the Two Works the Best for a Cold?
The only nose of one clinical trial on Vic's first defence is promising, but it's a small study with weak evidence. For the Boots dual defence though, there are multiple clinical trials on carrageenan that have shown it to have benefits in relieving and shortening the duration of some of the symptoms of the common cold. When I asked the expert, do you use them, and do you have a preference between the two? He said both approaches looked like good ways of tackling the cold virus. There's just a bit more evidence for the carrageenum-based ones.
