Dan Rivers: Showing mercy is great, right? But there are occasions when it's directly contrary to what God says should happen. He says in verse 35 of 1 Kings 20, that does not go well in the end. The king makes some promises to him. He says, sounds like a good deal to me and releases him. And that's where we ended it.
