Can You Put a Slight Irish Accent on the News?
Bertridge was told to put on a slight irish accent by radio bosses. He says he has practised it in the past, but is still not good at it. The Irish are like 'rubbers' - they keep getting taken over and given back right away. Bertridge also talks about his love of finland where people speak swedish. But that's just an off-the-cuff quip from him too.
