The Bitter Taste of Coriander and Cilantro

The coriander cilantro soapy taste is genetic mutation in the olfactory receptor gene, OR 6A2. People in India and Central America where it's eaten a lot more are less likely to have that gene. Arugula sounds like you throw up in your mouth. But we're not calling carrots like turd. We're not calling vegetables what they look like in real life. Maybe, maybe. Oh, it's rocket exhaust. It's like, no, it's, I mean, arugula does fit that bitter taste.
