Are We Going to Get Social Housing in the US?

The stability of Vienna and Helsinki's social housing to is their polycentric or divided governance the multiple levels of government which each have their own responsibilities and veto points in the housing market. Shane: If you can get that unity of purpose long enough to build up a sizable stock of social housing then having the poly centricity seems like it can be useful for preserving those programs against future losses or decline but if you're thinking about how to get social housing programs started and then built up it seems like maybe a unitary or centralized approach might be more important so I'm just curious as we close out here what should we do here in the US to get some social housing because we got a long way
