The Importance of Visualization in Math

In the future, I'll probably be teaching a geometry through game design class at my kid's high school or something like that. When I hit a thorny algorithm problem that does not allow me to sort of visualize it, that's where I start losing days. Once you have a pretty good idea of what you're trying to do and you have ways of visualizing it in between,you can go really far with those two things.
