The Crisis in the Profession of Medicine
The American Medical Association was revised and reformed in 1901. The new AMA is a confederation of state medical societies, which then becomes a larger confederation of county societies. They're basically like gathering all these societies and making like one large society. As a doctor, you can't be a member in good standing at the national or state levels if you're not in good stand at the county level. So you have to join the AMA. You have to be approved by the AMA. And they were literally making the same amount of money as the resin pyramid artist. Because they didn't have that much medicine also.
