Is There Something About Poetry?
I think it's important to distinguish dialogue or the written word from the spoken word. I actually want to do a thing on the difference, like, between what Socrates means by conversation and what Jwanza means by illumination. There is something about meter and rhyme and poetry that calls attention to itself as... Oh, absolutely. The point there in their experiments was to ground us in experience ever more,. And to go away from that sort of flowery language so that we can think again about what language is doing for us.
