But one of the problems with contempt secutions is you have to prove the elements beyond a reasonable doubt. The committee could write the sapina in a way that says, we are demanding testimony and ments relating to whatever it is asking bannon about, but with the president's conversation specifically. If it did that, then there is, by definition, no problem of executive privilege. It never arises because the committee is limited in scope to the president's personal and political activities.
