The Later Pythagorean Tradition

In the Hellenistic period, we get lots and lots of pseudo-Pythagorean texts. These are writings claiming to be by Pythagoras himself. The hymns in honor of numbers are linked thematically with erythmetrical texts. They tell us of things like the hidden meanings of different numbers.
