Introduction

The first hominines appeared around six and a half million years ago, with those mentioned in episode one of the podcast. The genera we refer to are selanthropus, aurorin and ardipiticus all of which we believe to be bi pedl - development that happened long before humans became human. We put a date of around four million years ago for astralepithacus.
