The Bathing of Black Trees in Alchemy
In the poem we've got this, the bathing of black trees. This is brought about in alchemy by various, very complicated and repetitive operations on the material. There's no different processes that usually have to be repeated, maybe hundreds of times. It's gay related to this idea I've found before, that you have these natural movements of consciousness, of movements of mind. So it's a kind of depression, or a depression, or what we're now called depression, you know.
