Dosage and Side Effects of Methylphenidate Medication

Methylphenidate was more easily tolerated and equally effective to the amphetamine. Always start with a long acting preparation, never a short acting preparation. I would also consider adding a short acting medication as dose wears off. And we consider a liquid or a skin patch to fine-tune dose.
