Gendering Equality
Welfare state has been, to some degree, about managing relations between women and men. You say in your book that there have been some anges in the welfare state which have addressed gender concerns. But you say they tend to have been confined to labor market participation by women. So what do you think has been lacking in that regard? I thinkad as a measure of gendering equality, employment is important, but it's not the only thing. We need to think power. And we need to think about women's access to decision making at whatever level.
