Ingres Engines - How Did You Manage the Increasing Number of Contributors?
halahandre: I didn't realize this until three years ago. It's hard to get maintainers for long periods of time. You can see now in the studs of the project that there's almost 700 contributors and companies like shopify are using ingres engines in production. There were people at those companies, or maybe even engines incorporated, reaching out to you and offering to help. But they'd say that they want to pursue the commercial bargin of engines, not the open sorce one.
