The Priestly Sacrificial Language of 2nd Isaiah
In Isaiah 40, Israel is thrown into exile for her sins. In Isaiah 53, the so-called suffering servant is put in this position of a sacrifice. All these language, nasa, Pesha, avon, shalom, nephesh, asham, are priestly sacrificial terms that we also see in Leviticus.
