The Old Testament and the Psalms

In some ways, maybe i've arrived at that finally, to an old testament theology. Because two things that really amaze me about them, the old testament and the psalms in particular, first is its diversity. And secondly, its the willingness to enter into a common room for dialogue with a common theological conviction. The bible makes room for tension between conflicting viewpoints. On the other hand, there is also this striving for common ground, theological and and ethical,. That also motivates these psalms and the variety of biblical literatures to engage in their own dialogue.
