The Amazing Story of “Iron Mike” Malloy (Michael Malloy, Mike the Durable, Murder Trust)
Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World

The Death of Mike Murphy
Murphy watched and waited any minute now would happen. The first sharp shards would tear through Maloy's internal workings, piercing and shredding pipes and tissue as they made the torturous descent to his gut. But Maloy chopped, chewed and swallowed that first mouthful without so much as a grimace. Satisfied he did it again and continued to do so until the sandwich was gone. He never seemed to experience any of the negative consequences that the murder trust expected even in the ensuing days. Mike ate the sandwich and liked it. He asked for another sandwich and proceeded to get drunk as usual. And then one day in January 1933, Mike failed to appear at the speak easy.
