How to Catch a Ball

Catching is effortless, you don't have to look at the ball, it's related to being in flow. And so it's interesting to me that there is a bunch of stuff that the animal part of the human can do better than the explicit thinky part. When you are doing this Alexander Technique way of catching a ball, you are more open to other things happening. You are like another ball being thrown at you or someone saying something to you or other streams of information. Instead of focusing and concentrating and getting tunnel vision on catching the ball, you now have this open awareness thing where other sources of information can reach you.
