So foraphane is the perfect example of what I would call molecular hormesis. You are taking in a molecule that is acting as a toxin and your body is reacting to it, perhaps by increasing glutathione a little bit. This is a molecule. It's molecularormesis. There's lots of these molecules that can do this that we think can increase the amount of glutathione. They're molecules. And my real problem with soforaphane is that while it's triggering your glutathione to go fight the antiox, the free radicals that it created, it's also circulating in your body and preventing the absorption of iodine at the level of your thyroid.
