The Caves of the Mulu Caves

The Mulu Caves are one of the largest cave systems in the world. They were first documented in 1858 and not explored formally until 1932. The area is affected significantly by monsoon seasons and averages between 160 to 200 inches of rainfall every year. Other than these rugged limestone pinnacles, the park consists of waterfalls, floodplains, hot springs, caves, and of course, jungle.
