There's a whole set of folks who are thinking about this transitional era question and it's a legitimate so you could good point. It doesn't seem to me that right now progressive economics is perfectly optimized to give the political response to that dilemma. We still have an economic job to do and that's to change the economic priorities of the country so that more money flows to the middle class.
