The Myth of Stardom
I think that these fans aren't obviously chasing fame per se but they are trying to constantly in some way get closer to if not actual Taylor Swift or you know maybe we should stop using another example. There is this sort of desire to at least get closer to or a part of like the myth that surrounds this sort of stardom and I think you know obviously that's mediated through buying shit commodities right? We'll continue to feel more atomized and more lonely and more not a part of any kind of community or we've never even known what it is the being a part of Like a really like strong community so we're just almost naturally as human beings reaching out towards this towards these groups
