Is There a Liberal National Identity?
The instinct to want to belong to a culture that you recognize as your own. Or part of it's tribal, i guess its another or negative sounding word for it. Is that something that the liberal world needs to accommodate better? Ah, both. It really depends on what that community is based on. So i think in today's world, if you simply base it on race or ethnicity, o on a single religion, it isn't going to work.
