How Justin Pierce Got a Job as an A&R Guide MCA

"I don't think the world works this way anymore. I was writing for Melody Maker in 75 and said, I want to write," says Bruce Springsteen. "Danny Rosenkrantz working at MCA Records noticed that I was touting people before it was fashionable." He offered him a job as an A&R guide on his record company's staff. The two have remained friends ever since.
