I would recommend that you can bin the slow technical practice with creative practice. There's no reason not to. You can also combine it with other things, like internalizing harmony. Practice the key of f sharp major, while noticing things about your posture and adjusting things in your right hand. And then a big one for me is just attract the things that you don't like.
