Introduction
A few years ago, fragments of a medieval manuscript telling the story of Merlin were rediscovered in the United Kingdom. Dr. Laura Campbell is assistant professor of translation studies and French at Durham University. She co-wrote a book about her involvement with the Bristol Merlin fragment entitled The Bristol Merlin Revealing the Secrets of a Medieval Fragment. And in 2017 Dr. Campbell also published the medieval Merlin tradition in France and Italy,. prophecy, paradox and translatio.
