Is There a Difference Between Footnotes and Bibliography?

I love how footnotes work because they're so simple and easy. But when you're trying to do a bibliography, no, just no. In an academic you can't use one. You need to use whatever citation method you use. Most people use harvard. I don't know whether many people would actually live my context as a business coach.
