Walter olson is a senior fellow at the cato institute. He has shown up to vote in his home state of Nevada and discovered that there was no one on the ballot he wanted to support. A lot of countries have tried this and either have repealed it, which is true of a number of european countries or have left it completely unenforced. Why is it that countries that try it so often drop it?
