The WHO's Report on Diet Drinks and Health

The WHO, so the same organization that is. Yeah, the IRC sort of affiliated with put out a report a few weeks ago at a time of recording that said that diet drinks are not recommended for weight loss. And in fact, that's what they called non sugar sweetened beverages of diet drinks actually might cause diabetes, heart disease and make you die earlier. It seems really odd to leap from that to the World Health Organization putting out a big pressureily saying, you know, diet drinks might be, might be bad for you. But yeah, like I was looking into this bit in the British nutrition foundation says calorie controlled diet drinks can help us lose weight. The answer does seem to
