The Scotsman Fallacy

No true Scotsman fallacy: Appeal to a specific definition of a word and discount all the other interpretations. An example in relation to LDS theology would be someone being told that they have to denounce the family of proclamation to the world or admit they hate gay people. Another important fallacy is the either or fallacy, also referred to as kind of a false dichotomy or black and white fallacy.
