The Mistranslation of Jesus
Many Christians today still use a set of verses to show that Jesus was predicted by scripture. The most obvious place where this happens is Isaiah chapter 53, which isn't about his birth, but about his death. People are always reading texts in light of how they understand the world before they read the text. And so different people read texts differently based on that.
