The Ideal Life in a 1970s Christian Family

Social theorist Jeremy Rifkin imagines how many Christians understand the ideal life in the day of a 1970s Christian family. The husband leaves her work while he will start off his day at a businessman's prayer breakfast. After dinner the children begin their Christian school assignments, a Christian babysitter arrives and they're off to a ding ding ding Christian nightclub for socializing with Christian friends from the local church. They return home later in the evening and catch the last half hour of the 700 club, the evangelical Johnny Carson.
