Is There a Shift in Inflammation?
There are some non radioactive cytotoxicity assays one can do as well. But it does go back to when you're designing a clinical trial, it isn't the case that those assays are done as frequently because they're not as easy. I have the feeling that there is a shift happening in the way inflammation is discussed. In the last years, the focus seemed to have been on detrimental effects of unregulated inflammation,. Now I read more and more research highlighting the positive role of inflammation, for example, in tissue remodeling and regeneration.
