Fania: For parenting to trust that you are in Christ that you have belonging there and not in perfectly behaved and performing children. So much of our parenting when we are going down to those idols of perfectionism and performanceism can be shame-driven, she says. Fania: I really truly believe with now kids in my, in their 20s, if I could go back and really be more rooted in the unconditional unwavering love of the good shepherd who pursues us all the way through his love will change us in a way that shame and fear never can.
