The Problem With Anti-Satellite Weapons
The U.S., China and India have all tested anti-satellite weapons at this point, says Peter Bergen. Russia took out Cosmos 1408, a defunct satellite that caused the debris to actually intersect the orbit of the International Space Station. "It starts to raise a question of just how small can we detect," writes Bergen.
