Lambert was a film school drop out, full of ideas and grand ambitions. Stamp was a working class east end cockney. The two complimented each other perfectly and became flatmates and collaborators. After seeing a hard day's night they decided that they were going to make their own pop film inspired by the french nouval varge school of cinema. Now all they needed was to find a band that were playing lowly clubs, but could become massive stars. When they saw the high numbers, stump and lambert started making their film which can be found on youtube. What's even more astonishing though is how modern the group look.
