Is God Masculine?

Noah cungall says, in catholic tradition, we generally refer to all parts of the trinity as male persons. But is this necessarily the case? I want to interrupt right there. We use masculine terms. But they are not male in the sense that you and i are male. Noah: Would it not also make sense to refer to christ or the holy spirit as the perfection of masculinity and femininity? Christ received life from the father, feminine, and then gave himself for the church and all souls. Same for the holy spirit, who proceeds from the father and son. It would take a doctoral dissertation to address that thoroughly and adequately. He's on to some things.
