Tertiary hypeparatardism is a pretty rare condition. It usually happens in patients who have enstage renal disease. The parathara glands are stimulated over a long period of time by the low calcium levels seen in ccd. As a result, you end up secreting very high p th levels and developing hyper calcemia. Treatment for tertiary hypipartardism is removal of the parthyroid glands.
